Ruff (Philomachus pugnax)

This image was made in poor light...high ISO. Unfortunately when I had the bird in great evening light an idiot in a day glow shell suite scared the bird off by insisting on talking to me even though I asked him politely several times to back off. The bird was catching insects and delivering great poses. Murphy's Law struck again! This image is full frame.

In spite of the settings and conditions Adrian, this is still one beautiful closeup of this Ruff.

Wow, what a brilliant picture of this fabulous bird. Exceptional! I am sorry the day glow shell suit talker ignored your polite requests to back off. It is sad people have to be that way. This is still one to be proud of Adrain!!!!!

That's still a fabulous capture Adrian, have the same problems everywhere .Tfs
