Rufous Hummingbird (Selasphorus rufus)

Reflexes are what these little birds are about. The Tv on the camera is 1/800 sec. and so is the sync on the flash. Yet when the shutter released with the first curtain click, this bird was able (wings were folded at time of click) to bring it's wings to this position before the secont curtain closed 1/800 of a second!!
