Rufous Hummingbird (Selasphorus rufus)

This little guy didn't seem to be enjoying the rain. I sure was glad to seem him arrive (on 2-29-16) since he was four days late. Another male and two females have since joined him at the feeders.

What a little stunner he is with that iridescent red gorget shining and that belligerent behavior oozing out. They are feisty, even for a hummingbird. TFS Vicki!!!!

Great shot, Vicki! I remember seeing these at Patagonia Reserve in Arizona a few years ago.
