runing up that road ... (Tringa totanus)

first time i see this one, but come to think of it most of the shore birds are first to me, not really good with them but my guess that it is a redshank.

Hope you like it, thanks all.
Location
Alkhoumra shore south of Jeddah
Date taken
31/10/2009
Scientific name
Tringa totanus
Equipment used
Olympus E 620 + Sigma 50-500 mm at 460 mm + EC 1.4, at ISO 500 f 14
It is indeed a Redshank and a splendid capture too. Lovely detail and colour.

Would go as far as to say this one of your Top Post Doux!! love the strutting Redshank which alone is brilliant, the setting turns it into awesome photograph Girl Mate, love it, :t::t::t:

An excellent capture Doux, the title reminded me of one of my favourite Kate Bush songs ;-) You are really putting your new lens to great use!!

LOOOOOL Jaimedude that was exactly what i meant with the title, Kate Bush is my ever favorite, although i am not very well with western music but she is different.

thanks all for these wonderful comments.

Congrats on this your first, Doux, and a fabulous shot!
They can be found in Hong Kong, but I failed to see one.
