Ryukyu Robin with snack (Luscinia komadori namiyei)

The endemic Ryukyu Robin subspecies L.k. namiyei. This is a male with the distinct black bib. This is a bit better and less obstructed photo than the last one I posted of this species.

A lovely looking bird, but it is a pitty the photograph is soft. I would love to see a really good one of this bird.

Wow ! Would love to see one of these, Dan :t: ! We've had a few arrive here but it's one every three years or so. Great catch, mate !
