Saturday fun....

.... or one day it'll all come together.

I've been practising rain shots, having been inspired to do so by some of you clever guys out there.

Well, I either get the rain showing nicely like this but no birds in view or, if I get a bird in the shot, the raindrops don't show up.

I need to wait for the "right sort of rain" to try again.;)

Wrong sort of rain? Lol, you sound like a railway PR person. Like the effect though, tfs.

Had the same battle with snow not long ago. Thought the falling flakes would be pretty, if I could just get a bird in the shot too. Not an easy task as the rain is not either. Like the effect here though. Nicely done.

Not easy Delia, I had an interesting event happen to me yesterday. I photographed two rooks feeding in a field, and not one of the photographs turned out sharp. The cause I discovered was heat haze!!!

hi delia.love it and with rain like that the birds are definately in hiding but seriously i always try for the birds on rainy days and miss the rain.very nice effect you captured.all the best margaret.

I think this is very interesting, Delia! Don't think I've ever got rain this clearly.
