There was a different-shaped lump sitting in the tree that morning, so I grabbed the camera, zoomed in to try and get a close view .... clicked and off he went.
It was only much later on that day, when a few more came in, that I was able to confirm my thoughts on it being a Fieldfare.
This was a January visit and the light and everything was too awful to get decent images. So I was actually quite pleased at how well this one turned out; still feels it qualifies for SF though!
