First day out with my new camera and practising flight shots!!

Thought I'd try guessing where the Heron was going to go, then click when he got into the frame.

Just wasn't expecting a Lapwing to fly up and cover him.

I like how this shows your skill and almost ESP like anticipation, knowing TWO birds were going to be in one spot and successfuly photographing that. Great work DT! ;)

Those pesky Lapwings (lol). Excellent picture of this Heron in flight even if the Lapwing did not want to be left out. Fabulous D!!!!!!
 
Nice one! I'd be quite chuffed if a heron scared a lapwing into my shot. Good plan and an extra pay-off :D
