Saturday fun.....
..... or New feeder tale

Not really a 'funny' shot, but it was fun for me.

This is a compilation of pictures after I'd hung a coconut fat feeder at the window.

I took a picture at 11.02 when I first put it up. 11.09 a Blue Tit arrived at the tray. Two minutes later he popped up the top.. looked at the fat then hopped on to it.

Shortly after there were two. Now a couple of weeks later, it's half empty!! You could say it's been a success.

This is really my first attempt at trying to put several pictures together like this... still need some practise at it, but think it's worked well enough to show the tale.

Not seen one like that Delia, I use the half-coconut fat feeder with nibbles.

Good luck with it as the blue-tits seem to enjoy them.

The Xmas goodies do disappear fast, don't they ;) My coconuts are also nearly empty now. BTs and GTs do come for nibbles whenever the tit flock arrives, but mainly it's the magpies that are emptying them out. I'll have to put up more before Winter's over ... and hope for better photography light when they're up.

You did a great at putting all the pictures together, I haven't tried to do that yet. Interesting story that goes with your interesting pictures Delia

Terrific job putting together that collage with some lovely images, Delia!! tfs. I also need to learn, which software do you use?

Your getting too complicated now Delia "pictures in pictures" what next I say!
Great set though, well done! Tfs.

I love it Delia. Well done. I get through three coconut shells a week in my garden. Everything seems to have a nibble. I have post the Kingfisher video as you requested.
