Habitat
Eastern-slope of the Andes in the foothills at 1,398 m (4,587 ft) elevation. Night lights at common dining area.
Location
Cock of the Rock Lodge, northeast of Challabamba, Parque Nacional del Manu, Madre de Dios Department, Per.

That's a beauty Stanley. I see he has 'eyes' at the back end to fool predators I presume.

This white moth stands out beautifully against against the warm colour of the wood. Lovely shape too. A superb image, Stanley.

Not sue how big your moth here is but we have one here in the UK that looks quite similar :- Swallow-tailed Moth - Ourapteryx sambucaria
Ours is pale yellow or sometimes cream in colour.
