Savi's Warbler (Locustella luscinioides)

Look what I've found during the last weekend!!! o:) It's a lifer, one I never thought I'd get because they are difficult to spot as far as I know (in fact it's not a very often photographed bird) but this was there in the open, singing away its characteristic monotonous tune (a pic of it singing, soon in my "illustrated diary" ). Understandable, I was dying to share it with everybody!!! |=)|
Habitat
A bush by a reedbed
Location
Tablas de Daimiel N. P., Ciudad Ral Province, La Mancha, C Spain
Date taken
24 April 2010
Scientific name
Locustella luscinioides

Canon 50D + Sigma 50-500 (purely handheld this time (|=)|), ISO400, f/10, 1/800s, 0.0 ev)
