How pretty this tanager is SK! Would that be the female, or a non-breeding male?

For me it is slightly difficult to say but I think it is likely that it's a non breeding male. I took more photos of it from other angles and it seems like the wings may be dark enough to suggest a non breeding male.

Thanks so much for the clarification. I was trying to look at the wing colour, but not quite enough to use on this picture .... as you noticed LOL
