Thanks, it is such a good bird it should perhaps be an honorary wader. Having said that, much as I love waders all birds are fantastic.

That's a beautiful photo of Schalow's. Where in Namibia did you see it?
I've posted a description of finding one in Kasane in a thread ; Botswana 2015.
I didn't get a photo. Maybe you could tell me where you got the bird in that thread? Well done, Padraig.
