Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Male
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Tyrannus forficatus) They are beginning to arrive. This one showed up the last day of March. About an average spring arrival time. I am always ecstatic to see them.
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetation area, Brazos River Valley, agriculture fields and tame pastureland at 77 m (253 ft) elevation.
Location
Union Bend Road, northwest of Mumford, Robertson County, Texas, USA.
