Sea Slug Aegires punctilucens (Aegires punctilucens)

Found this species over a 15 year period on a rocky western coast of North Uist. The 'punctilucens' part of the scientific name refers to the green mirror-like spots on the dorsal surface.

Fabulous Sea Slug. Those green mirror-like spot appear as if they could be bioluminescent. TFS this gem with us Lee!!!
