Secret Snipe (Gallinago gallinago)

This Snipe was in front of the Island Mere hide at Minsmere. Despite being reasonably close it was very difficult to spot and even more tricky to focus on amongst the reeds. They are incredibly well camouflaged in their favoured habitat. Ron

Brill shot Ron they are hard to spot as I found out yesterday as soon as you spot them they are gone.
