We moved along the path a bit more and managed to find the Sedge Warbler that we'd heard singing. I sat down on a bench and got loads of pictures of him (most with his head turned away of course LOL).
These were among the best views I've ever had, and certainly the best photo opportunity. I'd tried to photograph one at Burnham O-S a couple of days before, but it was so windy the pics were crap.
While we were sitting on the bench, a guy pointed out a Hobby flying high. B (: Lifer No 1 of the trip but no pics. I just wanted to watch him in action, and knew if I took my eyes off him, I'd lose him altogether. Oh was I happy that was one of my 4 targets of the week!
After she got home, my sister was walking with a group and they were quite impressed when she identified a Sedge Warbler for them!!
