After Shell Bay, we moved on to explore the Crinan Canal area, another part that Clive and Glen hadn't visited before.
We stopped at Cairnbaan, near the start of the east end of the canal, so they could have a look at the locks and the boats there. I heard a Sedge Warbler....
I'd been chasing these for days, hearing them all over the place, but not getting a view! Even this one didn't make it easy, as you can see.
He was in full song but flying between one lot of scrub to another... just as I spotted him back he'd go!! This and two other images were the only ones I ended up with!
