Semipalmated Plovers

On a rock. There were hundreds of these as well as semipalmated sandpipers and at least one Sanderling on the beach of the Petit Manan wildlife refuge in Maine. It was interesting that when they as I walked the beach the plovers and sandpipers flew together as a group. They do love to hang out together I guess.
