Habitat
Seldom far from water in open forests, woodlands; mostly in river red gums on watercourses, but also mallee, blossoming woodlands/heaths, shelterbelts, road reserves; parks, gardens. Sedentary with local nomadism.

A clear case of where the lighting makes the shot. Looks like a "theatre Key light". Excellent. :t: :t: :t: :t:
 
Magical shot Rose, the darkened back drop gives a mystical quality to the whole image.

I imagine a faint cackling of a old witch coming from the dark, as she adds her frogs legs to her bubbling cauldron - while the lime faced familiar watches out for trolls and orcs.

(Sorry!! I must get some stronger tablets - these are just not working!!!)
 
A cracking shot, Rose. I sometimes wonder how many bees you have got down there- there are so many honeyeaters and bee eaters!
