Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus)

Taken with 600mm plus 2x extender and Canon 1D Mark lll Just got the 2x extender so I am pleased with the first results, I had heard many negitve reviews on the 2x for sharpness but this is acceptable.

o:) I think it's gorgeous, Jim, the face is unflawed and you can feel the softness in the plumage, not to mention the incredibly smooth background!!! :clap: :clap:
