Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus)

Not all the interesting birds were seen from the car. We were on a coastal path in a nature reserve when this owl flew out of a low bush to the left of the path. Instead of flying off immediately it flew around our heads fpr a few seconds, complaining loudly about being disturbed. I was a bit taken aback but I managed a couple of shots before it disappeared into the forest.
