Show off (Phasianus colchicus)

Show off - I went to the Somaerset Levels today and it was if all the wildlife had gone on holiday. This guy though was out and about and reacted to the shutter sound and kept clicking back at me. Also bits of his body kept popping up like his ears and tail feathers. I think he fancied me. Lol

Across most of the UK, apart from the far north and west of Scotland. Least common in upland and urban. Usually seen in the open countryside near woodland edges, copses and hedgerows.
