These guys are also known as White-eyed Ducks, which confused me for a bit the first time someone called it, thinking I'd got another new bird. LOL

I'm not quite sure how they got named 'Hardhead' though.

Hardhead is definitely a strange name.

This is a beautiful image of this Hardhead showing it's white eye ;) I like White-eyed better me thinks.
