One of at least five birds oversummering at this site. I did the sketch in the field and then tidied it up and added watercolours after I got home

Beautiful sketch,I wish I could capture scenes like this. (I do a good line in stick people... even my grand daughter can't tell what I draw!!)
 
wonderfully subtle colours Dave, now we've seen work like this we're going to want to see more!
 
I like a lot these two delicate watercolours. And the birds are beautifully observed and drawn.
