What's all the fuss about? (Bubo virginianus)

Usually we see the Great Horned in the old open barn on the way into the draw. We were surprised yesterday when he wasn't there. We were also surprised by the amount of movement the Barn Owls were doing in broad daylight. Then we saw the Great Horned in one of the willow trees. The Barn Owls did not like him being there at all. Their activity didn't seem to bother him - but he sure bothered them!
Habitat
Found throughout North America, except the artic regions. They are resident, sedintary, and territorial within the varied habitats of its breeding range, from forest to city to open desert.
