Struttin' her stuff (Callipepla gambelii)

I usually see more of the Gambel's in the summer, fall and spring. Though they still come in to feed in the winter, they tend to remain hidden in the brushes. This pretty one decided to take a stroll on the wall between the house and where we feed the birds.
Habitat
Found in large groups in dense brushy cover.
