One of the two vultures that landed on the lookout we were sitting at and were very cooperative with our presence and the photo shoot.

Nice capture Matt, not everyday that one sees these guys. Good to see what a black one looks like since all I have seen so far is the Turkey Vulture.
 
Thanks guys, they let us get surprisingly close, I could have gotten closer but risked falling off the mountain ;) and they were only two of fifteen seen that day.

We get a lot of the black vultures in SW Arkansas, and they far from skittish. Nicely shot.

A very nice bird despite its monotonous colour. Taken beautifully! Here in BC we only see Turkey Vultures.
