Sooty Falcon (Falco concolor)

As its name implies - stalking in the early morning light around the rim of the breeding island the Falcons either passed so close I could not focus on the them or they were just too quick - when I could get a fixed on them they would be in the wrong position in respect to the early morning sun. This was an an attempt at a silhouette AJ thinks its rubbish tough I was happy with the result

guess the light is still low (what time is it there maybe 40 mints after dawn, right) but focus is fine abit grainy maybe your ISO is set on auto and the camera chose a high value.

No was a heavy crop but setting were changed for this effect got a few really nice shots but will keep them for a future publication was experimenting in the very early morning light - gets boring otherwise
