Black tern and rice... (Chlidonias Niger)

Black terns in Italy show a marked preference for completely artificial (and unprotected) wetlands like rice paddies, with some concern for their preservation. Rice fields in early summer have a wonderful colour and can give a nice BG.

:eek!: Amazing green backdrop for this gorgeous Black Tern, might not be a good idea to breed in the rice fields but makes a great setting indeed!!! Excellent, Stefano!!! :clap: :clap:
