Four species of estrildid finch
It's amazing what will come into a waterhole in the Kimberly. And, this wasn't even during the driest time. Too bad the double-barred (or owl) finch wouldn't come into the field of view.

WOW WOW WOW WOW.... 4 lovely finches from the Kimberlies in one, and double that with the replections. :clap: I must pull the finger out & get up there - shame it a bit far for a weekend drive.
 
I agree about the DBF.
It would have been superb if it had come to the waterline.
Still a great photo though and all very nice species of birds!
