Sometimes you just have to...

Scratch!! Even in mid flight terns and gulls often scratch themselves
There are now 5 pairs of Common terns at Doffcocker. Saw one pair mating yesterday so Im sure eggs and chicks will follow shortly!

What an incredible in-flight capture, Annette. :king: It's hard enough to get any shot of a tern in flight, let alone performing stunts. Thanks.:t:

Funnily enough I have seen and captured this shot several times in the terns and gulls. Maybe they all have fleas lol Thanks for all your great comments.
