black oystercatcher and chick
both parents feeding this one chick, in this shot I got the parent opening the shell and the chick, you can see how well camouflaged it is. Last year ravens were nesting nearby, and gulls and neither chick survived tho 2 nests were built. fingers crossed for this one.
