White-winged Brush-finch (Atlapetes leucopterus leucopterus) Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, Ecuador. West-slope of the Andes. Edge of the Choco Region. Sexes similar. A skulker.
Habitat
Lodge grounds: shrubby undergrowth in pre-montane cloud forest. Edge of the Choco Region @ 1400-2600 m elevation.

Equipment used
Canon EOS 30D, Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens @ 300mm, ISO 200, Shutter speed 1/250 with flash, f/4.5. All minor image mofifications were performed with Aperture 3.1.
