Frosty heron again

Frosty heron again (Ardea cinerea)

Having taken one shot of this super heron earlier this week I popped back today with a longer lens, and he was very obliging. He started on the gate, before flying off to one of the fishermen's pitches. I found out later that he is being fed by a kindly thinking local - not sure if this is a good idea in the long term, but with the lake frozen over I guess it might be in the short term.
