Jamaican Flasher
Jamaican Flasher (Astraptes jaira: Hesperiidae) Endemic to Jamaica. Photographed just north of the Village of Arcadia, State of Cornwall, Parish of St. James, in the Cockpit Country, Jamaica. Identification was made by Vaughn Turland an expert on Jamaican butterflies.
Habitat
Wet limestone forest in the Cockpit Country @ ca. 1500 m elevation.
