King's Mantle
Kings Mantle also known as Bush Clockvine (Thunbergia erecta: Acanthaceae) A shrub-like herbaceous perennial growing 1.2-1.8 m (4-6 ft) tall native to western Africa and Asia but is widely planted and naturalized in Costa Rica. Photographed in the City of Alajuela, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica in the Central Valley at ca. 610 m (2,000 ft) elevation. Photographed with other cultivated shrubs that had become naturalized or at least were not maintained.
