A beautifully detailed shot of this superb bird. I like the over the shoulder pose. Blue sky - wherever did you find that? A terrific image Hobbes.
 
Excellent shot and bird, Hobbes, very well done. He told me where it was too; cost me a fortune to get to Mexico|=)|
 
Woohoo!!! Happy dance time Hobbsy!!! This is as good image as I have seen of this species. I have a couple in me gallery, but nowhere near as good as this un. Top work young lady!!!!!!!

WOW WOW what a super pose , perfection , all the gorgeous back and the beautiful profile, some stunning details, in excellent setting. love it and add it to my favorites.

BTW my first ever bird shot was for one of these beauties, it was with a film camera, long time ago, but until now i do not have a single shot for one in my gallery, and it is the only shrike of the six we get here that is resident.
