through the window, not as usual

through the window, not as usual (Sylvia mystacea)

before ten days i got a call from my mother in law telling me about a bird that comes to stand on her living room window.

asked her to describe it, she only said it got red eye, and it comes at about 2 -2:30 pm.

went to her on my weekend (on Friday) and was so STUNNED to find out that her bird is a Menetries's Warbler.

it continued to come all past week also at the same time, as it dry it self on her window, so form yesterday i got a video that i uploaded on BF TV.

this shot is form last week, Hope you like it.

this is a first winter adult as it has not pink on the breast.

Hooray for your mother in law and hooray for this shot! Simply amazing capture of this beautiful warbler g/f. The colours are so warm and lovely and the warbler really stands out. Amazing work once again Doux:clap::bounce::t:

no she is not she cooked to me a real spicy dhal that day, and my God it was fabulous.

Lucky you to have a smart mother-in-law!
(Mine is 95 years old, living on10+ floor in a mansion in Hong Kong, so no Trees or birds outside, and even there is, it should be too much for her old eyes, LOL.)
Great shot, and the window looks no harm done to the image.
