Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)

This shot was taken a few hours before she laid her first egg. I'm afraid peregrines apart from the odd woody are all I have been doing the last 6 weeks.

Date taken

Scientific name
Falco peregrinus
Equipment used
Canon 7D Sigma 500f4.5 EX Hand held.
A beautiful aerial Adrian with wonderful color and clarity. There is much to be said for specializing, certainly no need for apologies. Great work.

There is absolutely no need to apologise for posting any images of these brilliant birds, especially when they are as stunning as this one. A fabulous, uplifting image Adrian. Apparently the female on Norwich Cathedral spire has now laid three eggs and they are visible on the webcam. That is as close as I get to experiencing these magniicent birds.

What a horrible time you must have had, Adrian; mostly Peregrines, I feel sorry for you, mate... not|=)| Great flight shot and bird; those white clouds make it even better.

Don't blame you Adrian, they are cracking birds, and much better than many This is a super shot, he does look a bit ferocious!! Was it you that caused the problem?;)
