Charming Hummingbird, Costa Rica
The Charming Hummingbird used to known as the Beryl-crowned Hummingbird until naming authorities opted for personality over appearance. It has a small range but is pretty common in humid forest on southwestern Costa Rica. It was the most common hummingbird species at Esquinas Rainforest Lodge.
