Thanks folks - nice to get some really decent views of this fabulous (self-found) bird, including it hopping around in a field amongst bemused hares and also stalking a local collie !!!
 
I would assume a juve? Super capture of this very handsome raptor, well done Tim...A species I'd really love to see.
