Spotted Flycatcher
I spent a wonderful morning observing and photographing one or other of a pair of Spotted Flycatchers locally. With a relatively small sensor camera, I knew a Flycatcher was about the only bird I was going to get close enough to to achieve at least 2600px on the longest side :-)
Location
Weston Turville, Church Graveyard, (Buckinghamshire, UK)
Scientific name
Spotted Flycatcher
Equipment used
Panasonic DMC-G3 with 100-300mm lens
Shutter speed, aperture & ISO
1/500th sec shutter; f5.6 / ISO400
Thank you Ove, Carann, Doux and Chris for your kind comments. Much appreciated.

Interesting photo! I like the perfect match between the texure/colours of the rock and the plumage of the bird.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian
