Barn Owl (Barn Owl)

I have never had much luck with my local Barn Owls. We don't have many in Greater Manchester. So a friend of mine (Ivan ellison) suggested we take a visit to a place in Lancashire where they are a little more abundant and confiding. I managed a couple of nice habitat flight images but I have always been drawn to birds in urban settings as well. The Barn Owl pictured here flew several times in front of a nearby farm building and I was able to make an image of the Barn Owl which is suited to my photographic style. The image was made from a public highway.
