Pigeons, racing for the fun of it. (Columba palumbus)

Taken just before dark on a dull and dreary January afternoon. ISO 400, 1/8 second at 5.6. I often see them racing back and forth, seemingly for the fun of it. Tried to capture the impression I got for the few seconds I could see them from my window.
