Santa Marta brush finch (Atlapetes melanocephalus) (Atlapetes melanocephalus)

Endemic to the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia, these were common around the lodge and at higher elevations and are not considered vulnerable. They were actually skulky and hard to photograph.
