.... indeed you did Kevin!!!

A super picture this with some great feather detail... and I love the eye shine too.

Nice work your camera did!;)

Sorry.... it's the operator of the camera of course, isn't it!:-O

Delia,

Credit goes to the crow...perfect storm of conditions for my little bridge camera. Good sun angle, good crow angle, good pose. And yeah, the eyeshine was the kicker, so important on a black bird with black eyes. And he couldn't be more photogenic at this range.

Caught him sitting there when we were driving out of the park. We've learned to keep our cameras at the ready on the road out, we get surprises quite often. So stopped and sat there in the driver's seat quietly taking dozens of photos. It was amazing, I was so excited...and so afraid I wouldn't get a single worthwhile image (which is my usual luck).

A stunning, detailed close-up image of this handsome crow !!! Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely fabulous, Kevin. The lighting is perfect and the detail is amazing.

They look fine on the camera but it can be a different matter when downloaded onto the computer. I think most of us think the same Kevin. A great detailed and well lit capture to show off this beauty. Three great shots, well done.

That has to be one of the best crow photos I've seen. Wonderful light, and pose. Two thumbs up!
