Waxwing!

Well I thought I'd missed the waxwings everybody has been seeing this year, and then lo and behold! They appear in the tree outside my house. Anyway, it's a rubbish picture, but the best one I had chance to get. I was too busy watching them with the bins before getting the camera.

Glad you finally got it! I'd be happy with this: the nearest of the 3 is sharp and a good record of the event. It's good too that your priority was to look at them and enjoy them, rather than immediately grab the camera.

Ooooh!! Very well done FB. They're beautiful birds aren't they.

I'm the same, so busy watching them I forget to take a picture... then often the moment has gone!!! LOL But you did get your shot.
