Garden Bumblebee (Bombus hortorum)

This is a queen and you can tel the difference between this and the buff-tail by the length of the head about 15 mm (0.59 in), and in some cases even 20 mm (0.79 in).
It also has the longest tongue of all bumblebees and often keeps it out whilst flying from flower to flower
