Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline at about 7m.

Same bird and relative distance as [URL=http://www.birdforum.net/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/594146/ppuser/119570]this shot[/URL] from my Sony RX100 Mk III, this shot (reduced to 25% size) shows how much closer I can get with the SX60.

They are very photogenic for a "simple grey bird" and are not unduly shy. My goal is to catch one in flight some day, they have a striking dark-white-dark stripe under there.
